Aim Lab is a free offline app that allows you to shoot virtually any gun in existence. It includes guns from every era of history, military, and gangster weapons. It comes with all the functionality of an online simulator, but it is 100% offline. This means you can use it anywhere without having to worry about the need for Internet connection or your phone’s data package running out. To find out more about Aim Lab's features, read below!
How do I use Aim Lab? *The app starts off by drawing up a map on which you will play. Next, select your weapon. The weapons are sorted by type, so you will have to go into the subcategory of the weapon that you have selected if you want to find a specific one. Once you are ready, press "Play". Aim Lab gives you three options for gameplay. They are:
How do I shoot? *The aiming process is similar to the way online crossbows work. You simply point your phone at the target and wait until it fits perfectly within your crosshairs before releasing your finger from the screen. After you release the finger, your aim is immediately shown. Aim Lab currently recreates six types of guns. A barometer-based vertical aiming method is utilized for all the guns except the crossbow.
How do I choose my gun? *To choose your weapon, select "Gun" at the bottom of the screen, and then select "New Gun". You can then name your new gun and decorate it to fit in with your room or theme. Once you have selected what gun you want, press "Create Gun", which will open up a window where you will be able to customize many aspects of your new creation. *If you already have a gun saved, simply select it from the "List" and then press the "Edit" button. *Some guns that you can download can already be customized by pressing the "Settings" button at the top of your screen, selecting any option and choosing to save it. Currently, this is not possible for weapons you create yourselves because there is no way to set the aim of these guns other than entering an aim radius and time after creating or downloading them.
What's with those other options at the bottom of the screen? *To select an accessory such as a silencer or laser sight for your gun, simply select "Accessory". After choosing your accessory, select "Add". *To select a different background color for your gun, select "Theme".
Can I customize my gun myself? *Yes! Press the "About" button, and then press the "Settings" option. In the settings menu you can make various changes to your weapon. *In order to change the amount of time it takes for you to shoot after aiming, go into the "Aim Time" menu and choose a longer or shorter time period. *You can also alter your gun's range by going into "Range" and changing it from the default setting of 10 meters. You have a choice between 10m, 30m, 50m or 100m.
